HOT! - Cherry, Red Wine, Chocolate Habanero Jam
For those that Crave the Heat!
As More of you have asked for really HOT, we have cranked up the heat.
We have taken the full advantage of the flavor of Sweet and Tart Cherries that we blend adding the full heat of the Chocolate Habanero.
Using Tom's preferred “House” wine to infuse the Cherries in this jam. This wine is a blended red that has a healthy volume of Syrah or as some call it, Shiraz. The reason is that the character of the grape in a blended wine, which exhibits the Black Cherry, Chocolate, Peppery Spice all adds to the flavor of this Very HOT Jam. We continue to work at brining the fruit flavor forward and then – Hold onto your hat – the heat.
About the Heat:
This is simple - We use Three Times the amount of Chocolate Habanero powder in this jam. Remember that you have to do the math since this is not a linear heat increase. The nature of the Chocolate Habanero Powder is such that it is more like an upward curve, exponential, increase in heat.
Limited Batches:
We make this jam in limited batches so please pay attention to product availability. Make sure you look at our Event Calendar to find out where we will be. We will always have a small quantity of this jam where ever we are.
